The Qualivita Foundation, in collaboration with AICIG, Federdop and Isit, organizes the presentation of more than 50 Italian PDO PGI products in the Ministry of Agricultural Policies’ exposition area (Spazio Oval) at the Salone del Gusto in Turin. The protagonists of DEGUSTADOP, literally translated as “Taste PDOs”, are Italian PDO and PGI agri-food and wine products, explained to the public by producers and experts. Stories about territories and flavours, but also about the important value of certifications, which through product specifications and control plans, guarantee the quality, traceability, origin and transparency of the products. The tastings are reserved to operators in the sector and the press subject to accreditation.
