Fondazione Qualivita

QUALIGEO

Qualigeo is a Qualivita Foundation project which aims to gather in one dimension all the Geographical Indication (Food, Wine Spirits) of the world. Thought to the first world exposition on food that is Expo 2015, Qualigeo Project is based on three main directives: GI rating of productions worldwide, promotion and valorization of GIs through the use of new technologies, creating a system of relations stable (networks) among stakeholders in the sector. These three objectives will be implemented through the realisation of five channels: Qualigeo Atlas is the first atlas where is possible to find information, photographs, maps of European products PDO PGI and TSG of the international GIS products (published October 2009); WEB Qualigeo the digital platform where NAVTEQ maps are georeferenced in the air all manufacturing food products and companies (active from October 2009). Under construction are Qualigeo MOBILE to distribute the information to companies and products in new generations of mobile phones that have integrated GPS; Qualigeo ENCYCLOPEDIA census for more than 10,000 GIS products in the world to be presented at EXPO 2015; Qualigeo TV, a real web tv theme on agricultural food production of the Geographical Indication.

QUALIVITA PUBLISHING

Qualivita Publishing is a publishing project, implemented by Qualivita Foundation, which aims to promote and enhance the system of  Italian and European quality food industry through the creation and dissemination of works about agricultural produce PDO, PGI, TSG. Qualivita Publishing wants to be a response to the growing need of operators and, more generally, all consumers in search of accurate information and updated in relation to issues of food quality. To communicate and update the distribution of content, this publishing project was also integrated with specific applications that allow accessibility through alternative systems, in addition to the Web world, even to the Apple Iphone and ipad. Distinctive feature of Qualivita Publishing is its neutrality with respect to position subjects, according to popular scientific purposes only, without overlapping or the allocation of commercial metrics and assessment of the products presented. A cultural project that has developed over the years through the experiences and initiatives that the Foundation has made in Italy and Europe. They are part of Qualivita Publishing: the "Collana Atlanti", comprising Qualigeo Atlas and the Atlante Qualivita, the "Collana Guide" which includes a guide in Italian and English with cards simple and immediate of all the PDO PGI and TSG italian products. In addition to these was made the "Collana Quaderni", which is part of the Economic Observatory, and the Periodicals with Qualigeo.eu, a magazine about the world of geographical indications. There is also "Grandi Opere" including Qualigeo Encyclopedia, a work in progress which will index all the products Geographical Indication of the World. To all this must be added to the Multimedia part which includes QualigeoMobile, applications built for Apple i-phone that can keep them informed about the world of PDO PGI TSG.; Qualigeo iBook, a Qualigeo Atlas version designed for the IPAD, and Qualigeo.eu and Qualivita. it

OCCHIO ALLA SPESA - IL PRANZO DELLA DOMENICA DOP

Il Pranzo della Domenica DOP is a monthly report, carried out with the support of Fondazione Qualivita, within the TV programme “Occhio alla Spesa”, on the first public National channel (Rai Uno). The italian PDO, PGI, TSG products are presented and promoted. Each episode Mauro Rosati, Fondazione Qualivita secretary-general, and  Alessandro Di Pietro, journalist and Occhio alla Spesa anchorman, present a lunch based on the certified products, explaining their features and the quality/price ratio.
