PGI - Protected Geographical Indication identifies the denomination of a product which one of the part of the production, transformation or elaboration at least takes place in a specific geographical area.
TSG - Traditional Speciality Guaranteed valorises a traditional composition or the traditional production method, but it doesn’t advert to an origin.
14. Which are the differences among these certifications?
the products receive PDO certification if the whole productive process is realized in a delimited geographical area, to receive PGI certification it is sufficient that one of the production phase takes place in that specific area. the foundation is sustained by projects and donations derived from society and private finalized to the realisations of their personal activity. To contribute to the foundation is necessary to adhere to it as supporter
