European and extra European PDO PGI TSG product Atlas describes whole certified European and extra European agroalimentary productions. The Atlas shoots for being an information instruments to advise the citizen-consumer to the discovery of PDO PGI and TSG products.

PDO, PGI and TSG products Atlas collects technical-scientific and socio-economics information. Each product is detailed described in a file card where there are information about the history, the rules, the nutritional and organoleptic product characteristics. The Atlas is regularly updated and it represents a benchmark for the certified foodstuff system.

This outlook on agri-food Italian PDO PGI products represents a detailed picture of the most important socio-economic values of certified agri-food sector. Thanks to this economic research a classification on Italian Qualitative supremacy has been drafted at provincial level. This classification focuses on the territories more engaged in promoting and producing certified products.

It is a guidebook for those consumers who want to know and choice PDO and/or PGI Italian products. The products that are described representing every inch the excellence of Italian agri-food sector, that is the fruit of the effort of 100.000 agricultural and artisan firms that have choose the path to quality.

The aim of the Forum is to collect experiences of those subjects that mostly "realize" the food culture: consumers, researchers, producers, representatives of the local and regional government and of the national and international entities. The European countries are the Forum location sites.
