The first edition of the Qualivita Notebook discusses the role of the Italian PDO and PGI products in the national socio-economic context, emphasizing the problems which still remain concerning demand and supply, during the process of development that these products have to undertake in order to allow to the national agriculture to evade – as far as possible- the strengthened competition of food products from third part countries.
